The Wellington Crowthorne Trust was formed to replace the Walworth Club which was made up of two semi-detached houses in East Street, Walworth, In the London Borough of Southwark and was registered as a Charity on November 17th 1978. The Walworth Club had been financed by the Wellingtonians and OWs. The sale of the properties and funds of the Club provided the Investment that provides the Income to the new trust.

Since its creation the Trust has provided funds to Individuals and Organisations that met the criteria set out in the Purpose and Grant Terms and Conditions set out in the Trust Deed.
